The Hunt by Joyce Cohen Featuring Jessie Weber in the NYTimes

This summer Frank and I had the pleasure of working with a client who just purchased her first home in the Thornley at 215 E 79th St.  Its a great little (BIG) studio on the Upper East Side with a unique drop down for the main living area. The apartment had been occupied for several years by the previous owner and was ready for a rejuvenation!

Each of the closets was stripped and refitted for their new assigned use, a hallway closet was completely removed to create a reading nook,  the walls were repaired and painted with Farrow and Ball  paint colors, the floors were sanded and refinished, new molding throughout was installed, new lighting fixtures were mounted, the kitchen floor was updated and the cabinets were refinished.

Like many of us Jessie spends part of her time working from home so she needed her space to be multi functional. One of the closets on the mezzanine was made to resemble a jewelry box with pink upholstered velvet walls to showcase her creations.

Her jewelry has been featured in Cosmopolitian and People Magazine

Joyce Cohen recently visited Jessie for her weekly article The Hunt that will be featured in the New York Times this week.
